On Saturday 17th June 2017, The River Medway became a re-enactment of The Battle of the Medway. It was the anniversary of the Battle between the Dutch and the English. The Dutch invaded the River Medway attacking the English along near Upnor Castle in Medway, Kent. To celebrate this they decided to re-enact the invasion along the river front just off from Upnor Castle and St Marys Island. This was then finished off with an amazing fireworks display from off the River Medway itself!
And it certainly didn't leave people disappointed!
